ASP spam filter :
spamCle@ner is an external service (ASP) that can filter your current email address even before you download your messages. It works like a proxy by connecting to your email server, retrieving and filtering your mailbox without any user intervention. All you have to do is to set up your email client to connect to our server to fetch your messages.
Unlike antispam sofwares, spamCle@ner provides you with a completely hassle-free spam filter :
- you only download legitimate emails.
- you don't waste your time and bandwidth to download spams and virus. They all remain quarantined on our servers.
- you don't have any software to install, update, ugrade thus there is absolutely no maintenance on your side.
- filtering works 7/7, 24/24, even when you are not connected to the internet.
- it works whatever operating system you use (Windows, Mac, Linux, OpenSolaris, BSD...) and with any email client (Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird...).
And of course, you keep your current email address and you don't have to change your habits.
All spams and virus remain quarantined on our servers. You can access them by connecting to the webmail.
A report is sent to you on a regular basis so that you can double-check whether a message was wrongfully quarantined or not. Spams and virus can also be automatically deleted after a certain amount of days. You can of course set up the sending of the report and the messages deletion frequencies as per your needs.Any incoming message will be scanned by the anti-virus. A built-in anti-scam & anti-phishing preventive engine is activated to inform you of the potential danger of some messages (scams, fraudulent websites - banks and payment gateways - as well as any attempt to steal your personal informations & data...).
The worst thing about some antispam services is that they will decide for you which message should be tagged as spam and which message shouldn't ! You don't have to worry any more with spamCle@ner : you and only you will decide about that.
You do not want to receive emails sent from a server located in South Korea or having one or more links pointing to a server hosted in Russia ? Or you want to reject any postdated message written in german language, including an animated picture and some javascript code ? Or maybe you just don't want to receive any HTML email ?
From the simplest to the most advanced rules, you keep control of the whole filtering process.Besides that, you can take full advantage of your ultimate blacklist too : a powerful heuristic scan engine that can filter any text string or ASCII character found in an email header and body but also inside any attached file (PDF, XLS, DOC...) even if it is packed in a ZIP/RAR archive !
spamCle@ner gives you everything you need to make spammers life a little bit harder.
Whether they are small, big, blurry or animated, images attached to all incoming messages will get through an OCR engine and several merciless tests to ensure they are not part of an image spam.

Security is the first priority of spamCleaner's webmail : you do not have to worry anymore about viewing a message that may include dangerous code or to click on any suspicious link. The protection filter will always provide you with a bulletproof security while reading your emails, whatever their content.
Each dangerous or suspicious part is removed, modified or sanitised : JavaScript, Java, multimedia objects, sounds, remote pictures, webbugs & trackers, masked or redirecting URLs, iframes, HTML events... You are always informed of any modification done and you can even request to display the original and unprotected message.
Various notification icons inform you if the message contains invisible or hidden text parts and will display them with a simple click. You are also warned about any HTML syntax error.Other features include the possibility to view/save messages headers and source, to print either the text or the HTML part, to add personal notes to messages, to increase/decrease font size as well as style sheets (CSS) handling, support for international languages with UTF-8 encoding and themes customisation.
As long as your email server is using the POP3, IMAP, POP3/SSL or IMAP/SSL protocol, spamCle@ner will be fully compatible with it. If it uses a non-standard port (ex : 1100 instead of 110 for POP3), you can set it up in your options menu. IMAP users can even select another folder than the default 'INBOX'.

Don't miss important messages while travelling. You can forward incoming messages to another mailbox or to your portable device (BlackBerry, Palm, iPhone...). You can select which messages to forward by creating a whitelist based on the sender email or name.

You can import your email client address book so that all incoming messages sent from your contacts will automatically be accepted and stored in your inbox without any risk to have them tagged as 'spams'. Exportation from spamCle@ner to most email client is also possible.
The built-in network tools include a whois, abuse and reversDNS form.
With a simple click on any IP address or on a link found in your messages you will get all informations you need about it, adding one more security feature to prevent you from accessing fraudulent websites.With the possibility to change whenever you want the email address to protect against spams, various log files (error, security...), personal stats, spam filtering details displayed in each email headers, multiple accounts linking, anti-flooding system and several other options and features, spamCle@ner doesn't offer you just a simple antispam service, but the most complete and powerful antispam toolkit.
